Kindert discusses a lifestyle change backed by scientific evidence for weight loss. Everyday choices can make a huge difference in a person’s overall health. I knew stress could be detrimental but had not realized how much it affects the body’s ability to the cellular level. I did like that the author not only described the methods like avoiding processed foods to assist in weight loss but also described how to avoid eating processed foods. I think this is very helpful in making the changes needed to create a healthier lifestyle. I can admit that being busy is no excuse for allowing health concerns to go to the wayside.
I was very impressed by the amount of research the author had to back up her methods and ideas. The research was actually something that convinced me that maybe there is some value in trying harder to avoid processed foods and the tips for speeding up the metabolism. I liked the author’s style of writing and felt it to be very straight forward. I appreciated the fact that she didn’t use some of the more technical terms and kept it conversational. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to live a healthier lifestyle.
