Review – Fits of Tranquility by Robert Lampros

Synopsis: Fits of Tranquility is a book of poetry and prose about hope, healing, perseverance, and joy, as well as faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and falling in love. The book is divided into two parts : 21 poems on different subjects from healing to joy and stories about falling in love.

I liked the simplistic yet thought provoking words of the poems. It is faith based but doesn’t come off as pushy which made for an enjoyable read. One of my favorites is “Family”, it describes the value in a heart felt and touching way. I also really liked “Invisible Arms”, a vivid picture of how God protects from physical and emotional harm. I am a hopeless romantic so I appreciated the sweet moments described in the short stories.I would recommend this book for anyone who enjoys reading smooth thought provoking poetry.
